 What Next...
Hi all! I just passed my module 2 test on November 3rd. I haven't had that many opportunities to get out and about on the bike since then, what with all this shocking weather we've been having recently, and work I've been eyeing up a new bike to replace my CBF125, which I did all my tests on. I'm liking the look and feedback on the 2009 Kawasaki ER-6f. I wondered if anyone here had any input on this bike? And do you think I should take extra tuition on a larger bike before moving from the 125 to a 650? I'm most likely going to take the Bike Plus at some point. I'm mainly holding back for a bit of a gap in the weather I'd be looking to build confidence in cornering mostly. And overtaking (which is a bit of a planning job on the CBF125). Cheers Dan

 Re: What Next...
Ahh, my post has finally been approved I see... Since I posted this I actually went ahead and part-exchanged my CBF125 for the ER-6f. I went for the 2009 ABS version in blue. I'll post a photo or two when she arrives on Saturday

 Re: What Next...
Lovely looking bike.
Is it restricted then....it's a good job I don't live local otherwise I'd be nattering to have a go.
Am seriously thinking of the ER6F as a second bike for commuting/winter when (if) funds allow.

 Re: What Next...
I traded my Honda CBF125 in at Stratstone's in Clay Cross and got the new bike from them as well. I didn't really get a good price for the trade-in tbh, even though I had the bike from new and only put 1500 miles on the clock. It was just easier than finding a private buyer at this time of year. For the blue ER-6f (ABS version) with oxford heated grips (+fitting), lowering kit (for my tiny legs ) and a datatool red alarm (+fitting), it cost me about £4600 - £4800. Edit: Oh yeah, she's restricted. Still makes ya willy tingle when you open her up though

Nice bike Dan. Will keep a look out for you when I'm around Belper. Once the weather gets better.
